The Sisters have also set up a Food Kitchen and with help from volunteers within the community they provide a daily meal for the very poor elderly and children. They also provide the children from outlying ‘recintos’, who attend the school, with breakfast every day.

A uniform is very important in all walks of life in Ecuador and without a uniform no one can go to school. Books, paper and pens all have to be bought by the family. All this makes education very expensive in Ecuador. With support from people like you the Sisters continue to provide support to the poorest families.
